The flame flickers slow, smoke trails long, Nothing escapes my sight

The flame flickers slow, smoke trails long,
Nothing escapes my sight, listen to my song.
Sweet my little prayer that slips into your ear,
Close your eyes quickly, you have nothing to fear.

By the shadows that dance and the wind that howls,
I bind your will with ancient vows.
In silence you’ll walk, your thoughts my own,
Your spirit is tethered, your heart turned to stone.

With every breath you take, my power will grow,
In darkness, your secrets I shall know.
No light shall pierce the veil I weave,
You are mine, bound, with no reprieve.

By blood and fire, by earth and sea,
Your soul is tied, eternally to me.
So mote it be, as night turns to day,
In shadow you shall stay, never to stray.
